After reaching the Champions League semi-finals with ease in mid-week, Liverpool return to domestic duties looking to re-take their place at the top of the table, following Manchester City’s victory over Tottenham on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp’s side will have played a game more than City come the end of the day, but with the Manchester derby next week, Liverpool can ill-afford to drop any points.
Cardiff pose a serious threat to Liverpool though after their 2-0 win over Brighton in mid-week reignited their survival chances, and a victory would incredibly draw them level with the Seagulls with three games to play. Follow the live action below.

However, the Frenchman has nothing more than an air shot and Palace clear.

Liverpool starting to knock on the door from wide areas, but as yet are yet to fathom a clear cut chances from crosses.
Possession all with Liverpool though.

Chance for the equaliser there! Ozil's corner from the right is nodded on at the front post by Mavropanos to Mustafi, who heads over on the stretch.
Better this though from the Gunners.

Half a chance there for Mane from Alexander-Arnold's ball from the right, and while he gets in front of his man at the near post he cannot direct his effort on target.

The home fans are clearly frustrated by the way the hosts are playing, so Mavropanos takes it upon himself to beat a few Palace men through the heart of their defence.
But having done that, the Greek gets a rush of blood to the head and drags his shot well wide.
