Glenn Murray put Brighton ahead in the 27th minute before Sergio Aguero levelled just 83 seconds later in a frantic first-half. City pushed again and Aymeric Laporte put them ahead with a bullet header from a corner just before half-time. Riyad Mahrez's shot from range added to their lead just after the hour mark before Ilkay Gundogan sealed it with a wonderful free-kick.

Brighton 1-1 Manchester City, 30 minutes
This game has really come alive now.
Oleksandr Zinchenko overlaps down the left and gets to the byline, fizzing a cross to the far post where Bernardo Silva stoops to meet it, Mathew Ryan getting down to it to his left and clinging on with vultures circling.
City have responded superbly.
Brighton 1-1 Manchester City, 31 minutes
Now Bernardo Silva shoots from 20-yards and a deflection sends his effort skywards, Bruno showing all his experience to watch it come down, box out Sergio Aguero and clear.
GOAL! Crystal Palace 2-0 Bournemouth (Michy Batshuayi, 33 minutes)
Batshuayi's at the double in what could be his final Crystal Palace game!
Smart work from both Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the build up. Key men. Might they be playing their final games, too?
Brighton 1-1 Manchester City, 36 minutes
Manchester City have now gone to a more familiar formation, with Riyad Mahrez on the right and Raheem Sterling the left, Bernardo Silva moving into the three-man midfield.
Just the 83 seconds between the goals. Riposte.
Brighton 1-1 Manchester City, 37 minutes
Brighton keep giving the ball away in their own final third, Glenn Murray the guilty party this time and lucky that there are numbers back to keep out Riyad Mahrez's drive.
Corner kick...
GOAL! Brighton 1-2 Manchester City (Aymeric Laporte, 38 minutes)
The mightiest of charges from Aymeric Laporte, the crispest of headers and Manchester City are back at the top of the Premier League!
Glenn Murray has been enjoying some rough-and-tumble with the Frenchman at the other end but curiously lets him run here, allowing Laporte a runway of sorts, take-off powerful, flight plan perfect, and into the corner the header is thumped, bouncing on the line.
A lovely corner from Riyad Mahrez to find his centre-half.
GOAL! Crystal Palace 3-0 Bournemouth (Jack Simpson own goal, 37 minutes)
Palace are in complete control at Selhurst Park.
GOAL! Watford 0-2 West Ham (Manuel Lanzini, 39 minutes)
West Ham have a top half finish in their sights!
The crossbar denies Michail Antonio but Manuel Lanzini is quick to react and West Ham have two five minutes before half time.
