Follow live reaction after Liverpool dropped three points in the Premier League title race as a depleted Leicester side held on to secure a 1-0 victory at the King Power Stadium.
Mohamed Salah saw a first-half penalty saved by Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, with the Premier League’s top scorer hitting the top of the bar with the rebound. Schmeichel denied Salah for a second time with a stunning stop from the angle, as Liverpool went into the break frustrated.
Sadio Mane missed a further chance after half time when he was played through on goal by Diogo Jota, before Leicester punished Liverpool as substitute Ademola Lookman fired the Foxes in front on 59 minutes.
Liverpool couldn’t find a late winner - the first time they had failed to score this season - as leaders Manchester City held on to their six-point lead ahead of their trip to Brentford tomorrow night. Follow reaction from Leicester vs Liverpool live below:

28 mins: Save! Mane clips a ball in towards Henderson, who flicks it on to Jota. He’s in loads of space but buys further time by cutting inside Thomas, only to see his left foot shot saved by the onrushing Schmeichel. The flag went up - but Jota was onside. Another big save from the Leicester goalkeeper.

26 mins: Liverpool win a free-kick on the right after Thomas clips Henderson. Tsimikas looks for Van Dijk at the back post but Amartey rises well. It then drops to Henderson, for another attempt at the volley. This time he gets under it and slices it well over.

23 mins: Close. Oxlade-Chamberlain curls in an interesting ball towards Henderson, who runs across the box to the near post. He doesn’t manage to cut a touch onto it but it almost catches out Schmeichel, who saves on the line.

22 mins: That’s sparked some life into the Leicester fans. Liverpool were just starting to find some joy down the left and through Tsimikas - which led to the penalty. Remarkably, the goal didn’t follow after Michael Oliver pointed to the spot.

Salah is denied by Schmeichel - and then hits the bar from the rebound! It’s a poor penalty from Salah, who is usually so reliable from the spot. Indeed it’s only his third miss for Liverpool and it was at a good height for Schmeichel to save. The rebound came straight back to him, although a little high for the header. Salah strained and hit the bar with a looping effort, before Henderson couldn’t convert as it came back to him! Incredible scenes.

13 mins: Mane uncharacteristically plays the ball straight out of play after looking to switch it to one of either Salah or Alexander-Arnold. Liverpool haven’t quite clicked into gear yet.

11 mins: Soumare plays the ball straight to Mane after being hunted down by Henderson - but he gets away with it after cutting out Mane’s ball inside to Jota.
It gives Liverpool their first corner of the night, against this suspect Leicester defence. Matip gets his head on it but is unable to keep it down.

8 mins: Alexander-Arnold looks for Mane at the back post. It’s headed clear - but only as far as Henderson, who attempts the full volley! It’s a decent connection but the midfielder is unable to keep the shot down.
