Follow live reaction after Liverpool dropped three points in the Premier League title race as a depleted Leicester side held on to secure a 1-0 victory at the King Power Stadium.
Mohamed Salah saw a first-half penalty saved by Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, with the Premier League’s top scorer hitting the top of the bar with the rebound. Schmeichel denied Salah for a second time with a stunning stop from the angle, as Liverpool went into the break frustrated.
Sadio Mane missed a further chance after half time when he was played through on goal by Diogo Jota, before Leicester punished Liverpool as substitute Ademola Lookman fired the Foxes in front on 59 minutes.
Liverpool couldn’t find a late winner - the first time they had failed to score this season - as leaders Manchester City held on to their six-point lead ahead of their trip to Brentford tomorrow night. Follow reaction from Leicester vs Liverpool live below:

Son and Winks see two short corner routines turned away before Son makes a darting run across the front post to meet a Davies cross. It goes out for another corner, which Bednarek clears, before Forster claims Winks’ ball back in.

I had expected a change from Southampton, as they try to adjust to playing with 10 men. Spurs have had plenty of practice of playing against 10 men in recent weeks - Liverpool and Crystal Palace also had red cards against them.

It was looking set to be a frustrating afternoon for Spurs until Salisu’s red card and Kane’s penalty changed the game in a matter of moments. Southampton took the lead after making a bright start thanks to Ward-Prowse’s volley, but Spurs improved from there. They had looked threatening with quick balls in behind and eventually found their way through as Winks slid in Son. He was brought down by Salisu, who was already on a yellow card, and Kane did the rest. They’ve got a big chance now to extend their run under Conte.
