Maddison immediately plays out to Johnson, who angles inside for Solanke. The Spurs striker gets his body across Vestergaard, with the visitors appealing for a penalty. Those claims fall on deaf ears, though, and the VAR sticks with the on-field decision.

Son beats Buonanotte with ease but skews a torrid cross over for a goal-kick. Leicester have, at least, a few moments to breathe and regain their composure in the face of constant pressure. Hermansen goes long straight to Maddison, however, and there's more trouble.

Johnson squares up Kristiansen before driving towards the near post, with a deflection bringing yet another Spurs corner. Maddison goes over for his usual duties, seeing his delivery cleared before Son fires wide, with the help of a block, for another set-piece.

Winks brings some much-needed calm to Leicester possession before Hermansen picks apart the four-man Spurs press. Those efforts are wasted, though, as Kristiansen clumsily fouls towards the left-hand touchline. Cooper looks frustrated, but maybe that is his usual demeanour?

Fatawu needlessly clips the heels of the roaming Van de Ven, forcing Leicester to defend a wide free-kick in a promising position. Maddison, of course, floats towards the near post but De Cordova-Reid is there to deal with it. Porro follows up with another delivery, but Solanke directs straight at Hermansen.

As far as starts go, Postecoglou will be delighted with the visitors' control. Son and Maddison exchange passes before the latter directs across the face of goal, only for Solanke to bundle harmlessly wide when under pressure from Faes.

WIDE! Maddison is on set-piece duties once more, going short on this occasion. Johnson has time to stand up a right-footed delivery towards the six-yard area, where Romero can only nod narrowly wide to Hermansen's left. This is all Spurs, but can they make their dominance count?

Maddison goes one way then the other before prodding through for Son, whose low driven cross is deflected behind for another corner. The former Leicester midfielder whips towards the near post again, with Fatawu flicking behind for another set-piece on the far side.
