Prediction...
It’s a big game for…
Joe Hart: The Manchester City player currently on-loan at Torino will be eager to show he’s still the best England shot-stopper.
He has proven himself as Torino’s number one, but has cost the Italian side vital wins this season. Most recently two mistakes cost Torino a victory against Inter Milan.
Best stat…
Joachim Low’s men have gone 558 minutes without conceding a goal. The last was against France in Euro 2016 with Antoine Griezmann was the scorer.
Remember when…
England got their Euro 2000 campaign off to a good start against the Germans as both teams went head-to-head in a group that also included Romania and Portugal.
In classic style, an Alan Shearer header set-up by David Beckham put the Three Lions ahead. However, both countries would fail to qualify out of the group.
Player to watch…
Timo Werner: This is the 21-year-old’s first call up for the national first team after he impressed Joachim Low with his performances from the left side of midfield for RB Leipzig, who sees potential in the forward.
With a point to prove and having bagged 14 goals this season, Werner is certainly a player to keep an eye on.

Germany to win: 3/4
England to win: 15/4
Draw: 11/4
28 mins: Keane has made a great start! He picks out Dele Alli with a Toby Alderweireld-esque long ball down the park, but Alli's cross is plucked out the air by Ter Stegen.
Quick break in play: Weigl is down injured after being nobbled by Dier.
29 mins: German Twitter is still loving that early Podolski shot:
31 mins: So close Adam Lallana!
The Liverpool man takes advantage of a slack German pass in the middle of the park and hares forward, sprinting clear of Kimmich and shaping into the box. He has Vardy running clear on his right but instead takes the shot on himself - and goes so close to breaking the deadlock!
He shoots across Ter Stegen with his left and the shot beats the keeper, but strikes the far post and bounces to a German defender. Very unlucky.
34 mins: Germany getting a lot of joy down the right flank. Brandt skips past Bertrand and fires low across the box, but Smalling whallops it clear.
35 mins: Podolski is single-handedly attempting to annihilate every England defender. This time he rifles a shot into the mid-riff of Cahill, who falls heavily to the floor. Ouch.
Moments later Joe Hart is almost caught in possession by Werner, resorting to a hurried Cruyff turn to get him out of trouble. Well Pep Guardiola did tell him to work on his footwork, I suppose.
37 mins: Free-kick in a dangerous position for England: Rudiger steps across Alli. right on the edge of the box.
39 mins: Eric Dier takes it, attempting to replicate that goal against Russia. He goes for the long run-up, sidefoot finish, a la David Luiz, and blasts it high over the bar, a la David Luiz.
41 mins: England should be in front! Lallana wins the ball and passes it to Vardy, who draws the man and rolls Alli into space in the box.
Rudiger is out of position and Alli has time to pick his position, but he drags his shot into the body of the advancing Ter Stegen, who stands up well.
A pretty horrible miss, in truth.
