VAR is having a very close look at the penalty incident to make sure there was contact from Semedo on Cairney. After a lot of replays, they agree that the wing-back did step on the Fulham captain's trailing foot, and after a quick check to make sure there wasn't an offside, the onfield decision stands!

PENALTY TO FULHAM! Cairney flew into a clean challenge on Lemina to get Fulham on the attack again, and when Pereira loses the ball, he takes over again. He skips away from Semedo, with the wing-back just stepping on his foot, and after a moment's thought, the referee points to the spot.

GOOD SAVE! Castagne slid in to make a vital block at the near post, and the resulting corner is swung in by Lemina. Cunha rises high to meet it at the far post, but Leno gets a strong hand behind his thumping header.

Silva will have been pleased with how his side started the game, but they dropped off slightly after that. They did start to reassert themselves just before the break though, and he'll be hoping to pick up where they left off. O'Neil wouldn't have been fazed by conceding so early with his team's knack for coming from behind. They responded well to that, but haven't created too many chances, something the manager will want to improve in the second half.

It's all square at the break, with Fulham and Wolves drawing 1-1. It was a great start for the hosts, who went ahead just seven minutes in, with Iwobi starting and finishing a good move as he guided his shot home. Cairney almost doubled their lead minutes later, only to be denied by a good save by Sa. Hwang had a glorious chance to equalise on the counter but smacked the bar from outside the box. Cunha did hit the back of the net though, thumping a bouncing header past Leno into the bottom corner.
