3' - The home side have started pretty well here.
Newport striker Frank Nouble just skinned Vurnon Anita down the left wing before sending a cross into the box that was cleared.
GOAL! Newport 0-1 Leeds (Berardi)
9' - Leeds take the lead and it's full-back Gaetano Berardi with the goal, as he rifles a long-range shot past Joe Day in the Newport goal.
The goalkeeper really will feel he should have done better with that one.
13' - That early Leeds goal appears to have taken the sting out of this game for the time being. The Championship side are totally controlling proceedings.

17' - Chance for Newport!
Robbie Willmott's corner lands at the feet of Padraig Amond, who spins on the ball and gets a shot away. Andy Lonergan is beaten in the Leeds goal but Gaetano Berardi positions himself well and clears the ball off the line!
20' - Padraig Amond rises highest in the Leeds area to meet Matthew Dolan's cross but his header is tame and Andy Lonergan collects the ball with ease.
23' - Vurnon Arnita tries his luck from distance but the former Newcastle man doesn't quite connect with the strike and Joe Day dives to his left to make a comfortable save.
