Everton vs Tottenham LIVE: Result and reaction from Premier League after late drama
Cristian Stellini takes charge of Spurs in their first game since Conte’s departure against Sean Dyche’s Toffees
Tottenham Hotspur begin life after Antonio Conte with a trip to face Everton this evening.
Spurs elected to move on from the Italian manager during the international break a week after Conte labelled the club’s players as lacking in “fight” and “desire” in an explosive press conference that seemed destined to end his time in north London.
Interim boss Cristian Stellini has recent touchline experience, covering for Conte during a health-related absence earlier in the season, but faces a tough test first up against an Everton side strengthened under Sean Dyche.
With eight sides appearing to be in the relegation battle, a point or more against a visiting side in transition seems feasible and could be vital.
We will bring you all the action and updates from tonight's game in the live blog below:

Spurs neatly play themselves out of a tight spot in their own half, and it opens up the space for Hojbjerg to drive through the middle. He looks to play an early throughball into Kane, but Gueye steps in to cut it out.

There's a nervy moment at the back for Spurs as Romero touches it back to Lloris, not spotting Gray hovering on the edge of the six-yard box. The keeper scrambles off his line, and just manages to clear it in time.

CHANCE! It's a great interception by Onana just inside his own half and he sets his side on a quick counter. Doucoure spreads it out to Iwobi on the right before it's worked back across the box to McNeil, who curls his shot just wide of the far top corner.
