Tottenham vs Bayer Leverkusen: Spurs' woes worsen as Leverkusen secure well-deserved Wembley win
A blow by blow account of Tottenham's latest Wembley mishap

Tottenham returned to Wembley for the first time since their 2-1 loss to Monaco in September, but Mauricio Pochettino's side once again tasted defeat at the national stadium, this time to Bayer Leverkusen.
The pair met two weeks ago in a 0-0 draw but Kevin Kampl's second-half goal put Tottenham's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages in real doubt.
Spurs now sit third in Group E on four points, two points and one place behind Bayer Leverkusen with only the top two teams progressing to the knockout phase.
Monaco top the group with eight points, while CSKA Moscow sit bottom on two.

Good afternoon and welcome to the Independent's live coverage of Tottenham's Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen. It's a must-win match for Mauricio Pochettino's men but after the last encounter between the two sides, which ended in a 0-0 draw, there's no doubt that Spurs have their work cut out for them tonight. Will they be able to secure all three points and end their run of five games without a win? We'll have to wait and see!
So the in-form Son continues up front but he will be there alone, with Janssen on the bench. Sissoko comes into the team with his domestic ban not applying for European competitions, while Rose is rested in favour of Davies at left-back.
