Liverpool were on the verge of sealing qualification to the last 16 for the first time since 2009 but Pizarro stabbed home from a corner deep into stoppage time to deny them.
Sadio Mane headed home in between two Roberto Firmino strikes to put Liverpool three goals up within 30 minutes, but Sevilla came back from the dead after the break.
Wissam Ben Yedder netted twice before Pizarro's late equaliser, leaving Liverpool top with nine points, Sevilla second with eight and Spartak Moscow third with six, after they drew 1-1 with Maribor in the groupâs other game.
Liverpool, who won the Champions League in 2005 after coming from three goals down against AC Milan in the final, were given a taste of their own medicine at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan and must now avoid defeat against Spartak to qualify in their final group game on Dec. 6.

What time does it start?
The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday 21 November.
Where can I watch it?
The game will be broadcast on BT Sport 2.
It’s a big game for…
Jurgen Klopp. After suffering humiliation against Tottenham last month, Liverpool have bounced back in style to win their last four games on the trot. It’s small progress but progress nonetheless. A place in the last 16 of the Champions League would be another major turning point for Klopp and his men, and would undoubtedly instil the side with a renewed sense of confidence and purpose. A defeat, though, would seriously ramp up the pressure and force Liverpool back under the spotlight.
Remember when…
Liverpool pulled ahead in the 2016 Europa League final only to be denied by a Spanish comeback which saw Sevilla claim a 3-1 victory? Watch below if you can bear to relive the experience.
Player to watch…
Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian already has 14 goals from 18 games this season. Statistically, Salah is converting chances at a quicker rate than Robbie Fowler when he entered Liverpool’s first team in sensational fashion twenty-three years ago. Salah’s feat is made more remarkable that he is not even a centre-forward. The winger has been in sparkling form of late, helping his side to hit back after the defeat to Spurs, and it’s likely he’ll have a key role to play on Tuesday night.

64' - Jurgen Klopp makes a double change as Emre Can and James Milner replace Philippe Coutinho and Alberto Moreno.
70' - Liverpool have stemmed the tide over the last few minutes. Sevilla aren't coming at them with the same intensity of the opening 15 minutes of this half. Can the Reds find another goal to hand them back full control of this match?
71' - Liverpool dispossess Sevilla on the edge of the Spanish side's penalty area and Mo Salah takes aim with his lethal left foot. However, his shot is deflected just wide of Sergio Rico's near post.
GOAL ALERT! Borussia Dortmund 1-2 Spurs (Son, 76)
Son Heung-min gives Tottenham the lead in Germany!
78' - That was almost the match for Liverpool! Mo Salah leads a counter-attack for the visitors before feeding Emre Can, whose square pass to Sadio Mane is cut out at the vital moment by Ever Banega. That would've been a tap-in at the far post for Mane.
81' - That's not the most composed finish you'll ever see. Emre Can dinks a through ball to Sadio Mane and the Liverpool attacker, with only Sergio Rico to beat, smacks a left-footed shot over the bar on the bounce.
