From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Underway in Portugal
Porto vs Roma is finely poised as we begin the second half. Could there really be a situation where Buffon and Casillas both play in the 2019 Champions League quarter-final!? Timeless.
49: Draxler and Rashford take it in turns to be caught offside as both sides trade jabs in the second half. Manchester United are sitting deep but are keeping Rashford and Lukaku right up the pitch in case there is a counter attack to be launched.
52: Good defending from Lindelof to judge the flight of Di Maria's lofted pass towards Alvez. It's all PSG here, but you sense that United won't really mind that.
Porto 1-1 Roma (2-3)
Porto go so, so close to restoring their lead. Tiquinho Soares meets Millitao's low cross and heads fractionally over from close-range. Porto have started this half with real intent.
WHAT A GOAL............VAR!
Di Maria thinks he scores, but there'll be a VAR check for offside. The flag went up.
Okay, nothing to see here. Di Maria was slipped behind the defence and beat De Gea with a gloriously-timed chip as the flag went up for offside.
Porto 2-1 Roma (3-3)
Porto take the lead and level the tie through Moussa Marega . Jesus Manuel Corona's cross is turned in from close-range and we're heading to extra-time if things stay as they are.
60: PSG continue to prowl around the edge of the area, but United are doing enough to defend their goal. Draxler breaks rank and attempts a forward pass towards Di Maria but Smalling intercepts the through pass by using every inch of his frame.
Porto 2-1 Roma (3-3)
Pepe is involved in an altercation, no really. Him and Dzeko get in each other's faces with the Roma forward tumbling to the ground in somewhat comical fashion. Both are booked and we go on.
