Juventus stretched their yawning lead atop Serie A to 11 points with a convincing 3-0 victory over Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The defending champions, who have only dropped two points in the top-flight this season, went ahead courtesy of Rodrigo Bentancur's fine finish in the 31st minute.

Captain Giorgio Chiellini doubled their lead after the interval in scrappy fashion before Cristiano Ronaldo added gloss to the scoreline from the penalty spot.

The result emphatically ended Fiorentina's run of five successive draws as Juventus showed no sign of a European hangover.

A low cross into the Juventus box is only half dealt with by Chiellini, but Fiorentina can't quite find their cutting edge in the final third.

Juventus have a free-kick as Milenkovic fouls Dybala through on goal, and is booked. Incidentally, Milenkovic wasn't yellow carded in the first-half as was previously stated - that went to Edimilson.

Ronaldo's free kick is comfortable turned behind by Lafont.

GOAL! Fiorentina 0-2 Juventus, 69 minutes

It's a goal for captain Giorgio Chiellini!

From a corner, it breaks to Chiellini, whose volley creeps through Lafont and spins into the goal, with no touch from Ronaldo and a group of Fiorentina defenders who attempted to head it clear. VAR confirms that Chiellini was onside, and the goal stands!

It's the 34-year-old's first goal of the season.

GOAL! Fiorentina 0-3 Juventus, 79 minutes

It's Cristiano Ronaldo's tenth goal of the season in Serie A, as he strikes his penalty high into the top corner, giving Lafont no chance.

Ronaldo is then bizarrely booked for kicking the ball away after the goal, and is then substituted, being replaced by Federico Bernardeschi.
