Teenager Kylian Mbappe scored twice to give AS Monaco a 3-2 win at Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday in a Champions League quarter-final first-leg match that was postponed following an attack on the home team's bus.

Mbappe gave Monaco a 19th-minute lead shortly after Fabinho had missed a penalty for the visitors, and they went further ahead when Dortmund defender Sven Bender headed into his own net.

Ousmane Dembele pulled one back for Dortmund in the 57th minute but another defensive mistake allowed Mbappe to break away and grab a third goal for the Ligue 1 side. Shinji Kagawa gave the German side hope with a neat finish six minutes from time.

Who do you think will win this first-leg?

Dortmund have announced their team for tonight's game...

Dortmund team news:

Matthias Ginter will play in three-man defence alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Sven Bender, in the absence of Marc Bartra.

The 18-year-old American Christian Pulisic meanwhile drops to the bench after starting the 4-1 league defeat to Bayern Munich. That appears to be a tactical switch rather than because of injury. All the same, it's a little surprising given his good form in recent weeks.

And here's the Monaco team...

Monaco team news:

No huge surprises with that line-up. Tiemoue Bakayoko is suspended while Benjamin Mendy is ruled out, as expected, with a hip injury.

20-year-old Almamy Touré replaces him in Monaco's back-line.

And once again for the traditionalists:

Borussia Dortmund: Burki, Ginter, Papastathopoulos, Bender, Piszczek, Kagawa, Weigl, Schmelzer, Dembele, Aubameyang, Guerreiro.

Subs: Weidenfeller, Sahin, Mor, Pulisic, Merino, Passlack.

Monaco: Subasic, Toure, Glik, Jemerson, Raggi, Bernardo Silva, Fabinho, Joao Moutinho, Lemar, Falcao, Mbappe-Lottin.

Subs: De Sanctis, Jorge, Dirar, Germain, Cardona, Diallo, N'Doram.

Security has naturally been stepped up ahead of this evening's kick-off

The club warned fans to expect longer waiting times so to get to the stadium early.

They added that backpacks would not be allowed into the stadium and that all places to store them would be closed, so fans bringing them would be turned away.

There has also been a noticeable step-up in the number of police officers and security guards around the Westfalenstadion.

That Dortmund line-up has disappointed a fair few people...

Vithushan Ehantharajah12 April 2017 17:14

Borussia Dortmund's players have just appeared in their tracksuits at the Westfalenstadion for their pre-match warm-up and they've been given a rapturous reception.

That's including from the Monaco supporters. They greeted the sight of the home side with more Dortmund chants, which have been predictably well received.

Top work from both sets of supporters.
