Crystal Palace vs Liverpool LIVE score: Premier League result and reaction
Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp’s Reds endured a frustrating evening in London as they failed to break down Palace
Liverpool completed a difficult week with a frustrating 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace that did little to enhance their prospects of finishing in the Premier League’s top four.
Thrashed 5-2 at home by Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp’s side laboured against a Palace side who well deserved their point.
Liverpool moved up a place to seventh in the table, six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Without a win in eight league games, Palace are 12th, six points above the relegation zone.
Mohamed Salah hit the woodwork for Liverpool in the second half but Palace had two gilt-edged chances in the first period with Marc Guehi heading wide and Jean-Philippe Mateta firing a shot against the crossbar.

OFF THE BAR! Liverpool break quickly and Alexander-Arnold plays it into the box first time. Doucoure blocks it, but it rebounds straight to Salah, who gets a lot of power behind his swerving shot. Guaita is beaten, but it rattles the crossbar.

At the other end, it's neatly worked down Palace's right, with Olise knocking it onto Clyne. His cross loops to the far post and Alexander-Arnold just does enough to put Schlupp off, and Alisson holds onto the loose ball.

Liverpool are looking to make a quick start to the second half as Elliott lifts a brilliant cross into the middle of the box. Jota stretches out a leg to try and poke it past Guaita, but it's just out of his reach, and the keeper holds it.
