Follow live coverage as Chelsea head into their fourth Champions League group stage match looking for another three points which would leave them within touching distance of the knock-out phase, as they face Swedish side Malmo on Tuesday evening. So far, Thomas Tuchel’s side have won twice and suffered defeat to group leaders Juventus, who are at home to Dynamo Kyiv this evening - victory for the Blues would likely see a six-point gap between themselves and third place.
Domestically, Chelsea beat Newcastle comfortably at the weekend after progressing through to the League Cup quarter-finals a week ago, leaving them on a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions. Malmo have lost just once in a six-game run of their own, but that was against their visitors tonight, in a 4-0 drubbing at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture two weeks ago.
The Blues still have injury concerns in their forward line with Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner sidelined, while Mateo Kovacic is also out injured to further whittle down Tuchel’s squad options until after the upcoming international break. 20 mins: Rashford is played down the left wing and draws Ilicic into fouling him winning a free kick for Man Utd. Shaw swings the set piece into the box and picks out Maguire. He heads it down but Joakim Maehle blocks the effort. Mguire recovers the ball and crosses it into the middle. Musso plucks the ball out of the air but is fouled by Ronaldo.

17 mins: Wan-Bissaka slips the ball to Ronaldo over to the right of Atalanta’s box and he whips a cross deep into the far side of the area. It drops to Shaw who watches it come down before drilling a volley into the floor. The ball bounces over Shaw’s marker and lands on top on the goal.

15 mins: There was a VAR check to see if Mario Pasalic was offside or blocking De Gea’s view but both checks come back negative and the goal stands for Atalanta. Man Utd are going to have to come from behind again.

12 mins: Atalanta take the lead! De Gea needs to do better. McTominay deflects a pass through the midfield into the left side of his own penalty area where Zapata makes a good run in behind. He carries the away from Aaron Wan-Bissaka and cuts it back to Ilicic in the middle of the box. He runs at the ball and shoots first time firing his effort low at De Gea. The Manchester United goalkeeper drops low and gets a good hand to the ball but it squeezes under him and sneaks over the line.

9 mins: Josip Ilicic tries to weave away from Pogba but the midfielder leans on Ilicic and gives Atalanta a free kick. Duvan Zapata makes a run into the box as the ball is flicked over the top but Harry Maguire is playing him offside and the ball skips through safely to David De Gea.

6 mins: Manchester United come within inches of taking the lead inside of five minutes as Marcus Rashford is played into the left side of the box. He shifts the ball onto his right foot and shoots but the shot is deflected back to Pogba. Pogba lays it off to Scott McTominay who blasts one from inside the box and his effort takes a big deflection, wrongfooting Musso in goal, before hitting the far post and rolling away!
