Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Brighton couldn’t hold on. Wolves edged the xG 1.11 to 1.15 but it was hard work in the end as Wolves looked like a completely different team in the second half. It shows that even without finding a win in their first nine league games the players are still fighting for O’Neil. Welbeck scored late in the first-half, which was largely dominated by Brighton but after the break Strand Larsen was the biggest threat in the second half. Any chance of a comeback seemed to be killed in the 85th minute when Ferguson delivered the lethal blow to make it two. But Ait-Nouri got the comeback underway and Cunha, the best player on the pitch secured the draw!
