Your support makes all the difference.Donald Trump has stirred controversy by accusing House Democrats of failing to tackle antisemitism in their ranks, saying it was “shameful” the opposition had not taken a “stronger stand”.
The president appeared to be exploiting divisions exposed by congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s criticism of Israeli lobby groups in Washington, which has seen her spar with fellow representatives including New York veteran Nita Lowey while the House dawdles over whether to stage a vote on a resolution condemning prejudice against the Jewish faith outright.
President Trump has also threatened to stop “the Fake News Networks” covering the 2020 presidential election debates on a day his former campaign manager Paul Manafort is sentenced after being found guilty of bank and tax fraud.

If you're just joining us, we're currently waiting on two big developments in the day's news.
Donald Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort is before a judge in Virginia as we speak, waiting to be sentenced for financial crimes. He is 69, and could received what would amount to a life sentence.
The other is a vote in the House on a resolution denouncing anti-semitism. The resolution also includes a denunciation of white supremacy, and anti-Muslim attitudes. Even so, the resolution is considered to be a rebuke to Representative Ilhan Omar after she slammed pro-Jewish groups and politicians in remarks that have been called anti-semitic.
People are getting impatient waiting for the Paul Manafort sentencing to be handed down.
Things are taking quite a while in Virginia. No word yet on the sentencing for Manafort, who is 69.
The House is now voting on its anti-hate resolution. At least 20 Republicans have voted against it.
The House has overwhelmingly passed the anti-hate resolution it put forward to denounce anti-semitism, as well as anti-Muslim attitudes..
