A yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place for large parts of the UK.

A woman and her dog have ben rescued from the River Tyne in Haddington, Scotland after walking on the frozen river.
"Don't go onto a frozen river. There's still a current flowing underneath and the surface won't look any different whether it's thick or thin," East Lothian Police said in a statement.
A police spokesperson said that there were also reports of children playing on the river.
Disruption is expected on some South Western Rail services until 4pm today after ice affected the conductor line between Basingstoke and Winchester.
Wiltshire Police has said there is still "lots of snow" in the area and that roads remain incredibly icy.
Drivers are asked to take care near Forest Lane, Lackock, which has been blocked by a jack-knifed lorry.
Walderslade Woods Road in Kent is expected to be closed all weekend after snow felled more than 100 trees along the route.

Snow drifts are causing problems in Somerset, with current conditions keeping some routes, including the A39, closed for the rest of the day.
Staff with the South Western Ambulance service have asked people to only call 999 if there is a genuine emergency.
Ambulance staff continue to be hindered by challenging weather conditions.
Around 1000 people, mainly in the Basingstoke area, remain without power.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) said that ice accumulation on power lines in the area has caused damage at multiple points in the overhead line network.
"SSEN's engineers continue to encounter issues accessing fault locations, including to the road network," a spokesperson said.
"This has caused a delay in the restoration of supplies.
SSEN said that it had restored power to more than 12000 customers affected by the cold snap.
It hopes to restore power to the remaining 1000 by early evening today.
Hampshire Council has said that while roads in the area are clearer than before, weather conditions "are still bad".
Drivers in the area are advised to only make essential trips.
