As the nation prepares to welcome the latest member of the royal family, some may be reminiscing over what the rest of the Windsors looked like when they were children.
Over the years, royal fans have commented on the resemblance between Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Charlotte, and between Prince George and his father the Duke of Cambridge.
Here are 16 pictures of the royal family when they were children:
Earlier this week, Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for keeping the birth private.
She said because Brits paid for the couple's wedding they should be let in on information surrounding the royal birth.
Ms Sawalha said: “We invested in their love story. We loved the wedding, we as a nation paid for the wedding.
"There are certain things that we as the people want to know and the birth of the baby is one of them."
However, royal fans defended the couple with one person writing on Twitter: "Here is a thought. Maybe the Duke and Duchess can do what they like."
A coach under police escort has been spotted heading in the direction of Windsor Castle.
The sighting was shared by Rav Vadgama, senior producer and videojournalist for Good Morning Britain, on Twitter this morning alongside a video.
It is worth nothing that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live at Frogmore Cottage, which is bout half a mile south of the castle.
The Duchess of Sussex previously said she one day dreamed of having a family.
In 2016, Ms Markle told Lifestyle magazine that her life is "more amazing" than she ever thought it could be.
"I dreamt of becoming a successful working actress, which I can now very thankfully tick off the list. And I also dream to have a family," she said.
The duchess added that it's "all about balance", and that having a family would enable her to feel more "grounded".
"Raising a family will be a wonderful part of that," she explained.
While bookmakers are being inundated with bets on what name the Duke and Duchess will choose for their baby, others are speculating what surname the newborn will have.
While descendants of the royal do share the surname Mountbatten-Windsor, they have been known to use a variation of names.
When the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry served in the military, they went by the surname Wales, given the fact their father is the Prince of Wales.
Meanwhile, the birth certificates of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis all feature the surname “Cambridge”, as Cambridge is Prince William and Kate Middleton's assigned dukedom.
As a result, it is widely believed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal baby, and any future children, will have the surname Sussex.

Kensington Palace has dismissed reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be raising their child as gender fluid.
The statement was issued in March after Vanity Fair reported that Meghan Markle had told close friends she wanted to “avoid gender stereotypes” and approach parenting from a gender-neutral perspective.
The magazine quoted an anonymous source as saying, “Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby. Her exact word was fluid.
“She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes.”
The palace described the claim as “totally false”.
With the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child fast approaching, preparation is well and truly underway.
But, what exactly will happen in the hours, days and weeks following the birth?|
