My favourite budget mascara is on sale
Maybelline New York lash sensational sky high mascara is one of my favourite budget beauty buys (there’s a reason why it went viral on TikTok viral). It’s also earned a permanent spot in assistant eCommerce editor’s Sarah’s make-up bag. Find out why in her full review.
Maybelline New York lash sensational sky high mascara: Was £12.99, now £6.49, Amazon.co.uk
Maybelline’s New York sensational sky high mascara boasts a uniquely designed brush that’s long, thin and densely packed with tiny little plastic bristles. This makes it ideal for getting to hard-to-reach areas and easy to manoeuvre from all angles with minimal mess. In Sarah’s in-depth review of the mascara, she raved about the tiny bristles that line the wand, which she found “helped comb through each and every lash – yes, even those pesky ones right in the corner”. You can pick it up for nearly half price right now.

The best Amazon cleaning and household deals
Amazon is the best destination online for stocking up on household essentials and cleaning products - especially during the Black Friday sales.
From this affordable Shark steam mop (was £69.99, now £39.99, Amazon.co.uk) and Finish dishwasher tablets (was £19, now £14, Amazon.co.uk) to a pack of six Detoll surface cleaners (was £11.94, now £10, Amazon.co.uk) to a pack of 24 toilet rolls (was £34, now £28, Amazon.co.uk), now’s the time to add boring, but necessary, buys to your basket.
What is Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday falls on Monday 2 December this year. The main difference between the two sales is that Cyber Monday – as the name suggests – historically only takes place online, while Black Friday sees deals both online and in-store. This isn’t a hard and fast rule, however, with plenty of brands continuing their in-store sales into the following week.
If you miss out on bagging a Black Friday deal, the sale continues over the weekend before concluding on Cyber Monday – which is your final chance to score a saving. Typically, the best deals on tech and home appliances can be found on Black Friday, while Cyber Monday sees bigger savings across beauty, fashion and toys – so, this is worth bearing in mind when ticking off your pre-Christmas shopping list.

CeraVe hydration essentials set with hyaluronic acid and 3 essential ceramides: Was £41, now £20.50, Boots.com
CeraVe’s hydrating cleanser is a cult buy, and together with the best-selling moisturising lotion and AM SPF, your skin will be set for a full day of comfort and protection. Reviewing the cleanser in a guide to the best CeraVe products, Lucy Partington explained that it didn’t strip or dry skin out. “Instead, it’s formulated with a blend of ceramides and hyaluronic acid to help make sure that the skin retains its much-needed moisture,” she said. Likewise, she found the AM moisturising SPF to be “lightweight, nourishing and undetectable under makeup”. With 50 per cent off, it’s a no-brainer.
