Black Friday 2024 – live: Latest offers on Lego, plus Nike, Gtech and more
Retailers are kicking off early, with deals on everything from the Toniebox to Jo Malone
With just over a fortnight to go, the Black Friday sales are coming in hot. From Currys and Argos to Boots and Shark, we’re already seeing a bunch of early savings from major brands and retailers, so you can start your shopping right away.
You’ll find the creme de la creme of deals so far in our shopping guides, plus, for a real-time stream of discounts and Black Friday news, our liveblog has you covered.
Whatever you’re looking for in the sales, whether that be a TV, laptop, mattress or beauty products, the steepest discounts aren’t necessarily the most covetable deals. The best savings are on products that are actually worth your money, so, we’ll be highlighting deals on products we’ve tested ourselves.
In terms of the brands and retailers already on the Black Friday train (ahead of the official sale dates of 29 November to 2 December), Samsung has started its sale, Oodie is offering 50 per cent off blanket hoodies and Dyson is offering hundreds of pounds off its products. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at Boots, Currys, Argos, LookFantastic and more, in what some are calling their biggest Black Friday sale ever.
We’ve been covering the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for years here at IndyBest, so, we know how to spot a good deal from a dud. If it’s got a decent discount (and it’s worth your money), you’ll find it here.

Pre-black Friday savings on heated clothes airers
I know I’m not the only one with a heated clothes airer on my wishlist at the minute. Not only do they supercharge laundry drying times, they can reduce our household bills, given tumble dryers are more costly to run.
Easylife XL heated airer: Was £149.99, now £89.99, Easylife.co.uk
This isn’t technically a Black Friday deal, but this clothes airer took the top spot in our review, so it’s definitely worth a look. With three tiers and 30 heated rails, it can hold 15kg of laundry. It also has a timer, “so you don’t waste more electricity than you need, with options for two and four hours”, our reviewer said. “It’s the only airer we tested with wheels, which were helpful when it came to steering it to a clear drying spot in the corner,” they added.
Here’s Sarah, with more pre-Black Friday deals on tried-and-tested airers.

What we know about Zara's Black Friday sale 2024
Zara is no stranger to a sale but Black Friday is easily the most exciting of them all. Last year, there were savings of 40 per cent to be secured, and we’re hoping for similarly impressive discounts this November. If previous years are anything to go by, deals could land on the brand’s app the night before the main event, when offers are likely to land online and in-store. Daisy will fill you in on the rest.

After Shark’s flexstyle? It now has £80 off
An alternative to the Dyson airwrap that costs hundreds of pounds less? Sign me up. Dubbed the best alternative to the cult hair tool by beauty writer Maisie Bovingdon, this is how you can get salon-worthy results, without breaking the bank. Even better, it’s now even more of a steal, thanks to Shark’s early Black Friday offer.
Shark flexstyle: Was £299.99, now £219.99, Sharkclean.co.uk
“Similar to the Dyson airwrap, this Shark tool uses Coanda technology, which is when the powerful airflow collects and wraps the hair around the barrel, to create a neat curl,” Maisie explained. “The lightweight, versatile and multifunctional tool made drying and styling a breeze – so much so, we think it is on par with the airwrap, even though it’s £200 cheaper,” she praised.
Top tech deals you can shop so far
If you’ve been holding off buying new tech – whether that be a new pair of headphones, a swanky telly or a high-spec laptop – Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to take the plunge. In the meantime, here are some of the best deals our tech writer, Alex Lee, has rounded up in the run-up to the main event.
Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones: Was £379, now £274, Amazon.co.uk
Sony’s flagship over-ear wireless headphones comfortably hold the top spot in my review of the best wireless headphones. They’re currently discounted by more than £100. With next-generation features and impressive noise cancellation, I can attest to their quality. “Whether it’s orchestral music, rap, podcasts or your favourite pop tracks, the WH-1000XM5 handle it all with poise and gumption,” I wrote in my review. “They never miss a beat”.

Get your 40 winks on a discounted mattress
Are you sleeping comfortably? If not, it’s probably time to invest in a new mattress, and you could save hundreds of pounds with a pre-Black Friday discount.
Eve Sleep the original hybrid mattress: Was £649, now £389, Evesleep.co.uk
There’s nearly £300 off the original hybrid mattress from Eve. When putting the mattress to the test, our reviewer said it “particularly suits combination sleepers, with the seven zoned sections helping to relieve key pressure points by being softer where protruding and heavier body parts (eg shoulder and pelvis) push down, and firmer where they don’t”.
Whether you’re after a hybrid, memory foam or pocket sprung option, Sarah’s been digging out the best mattress deals you can snap up now.

In our review, our tester said of this four-slice toaster from Delonghi: ”It has multiple functions, including defrost, bagel and warm-up, so it’s a good all-rounder and perfect for almost any breakfast situation”. They also noted the high-lift eject, which they said made it easier to get toast and smaller items out of the toaster.
