Black Friday 2024 – live: Latest offers on Lego, plus Nike, Gtech and more
Retailers are kicking off early, with deals on everything from the Toniebox to Jo Malone
With just over a fortnight to go, the Black Friday sales are coming in hot. From Currys and Argos to Boots and Shark, we’re already seeing a bunch of early savings from major brands and retailers, so you can start your shopping right away.
You’ll find the creme de la creme of deals so far in our shopping guides, plus, for a real-time stream of discounts and Black Friday news, our liveblog has you covered.
Whatever you’re looking for in the sales, whether that be a TV, laptop, mattress or beauty products, the steepest discounts aren’t necessarily the most covetable deals. The best savings are on products that are actually worth your money, so, we’ll be highlighting deals on products we’ve tested ourselves.
In terms of the brands and retailers already on the Black Friday train (ahead of the official sale dates of 29 November to 2 December), Samsung has started its sale, Oodie is offering 50 per cent off blanket hoodies and Dyson is offering hundreds of pounds off its products. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at Boots, Currys, Argos, LookFantastic and more, in what some are calling their biggest Black Friday sale ever.
We’ve been covering the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for years here at IndyBest, so, we know how to spot a good deal from a dud. If it’s got a decent discount (and it’s worth your money), you’ll find it here.

Our favourite Shark vacuum cleaner is on sale
If your vacuum has given up the ghost, Shark is a brand that needs to be on your radar. Having tested myriad models, our reviewer dubbed the cordless clean and empty as their favourite Shark vacuum overall, and it’s on sale right now.
Shark cordless clean and empty: Was £349.99, now £249.99, Currys.co.uk
“Emptying dirt from a cordless vacuum cleaner is not a fun job but the beauty of this Shark model is it automatically deposits everything you’ve sucked up into a completely sealed base that holds dirt and debris for up to 30 days”, our reviewer said. “For a cordless vacuum cleaner, the suction on this is truly impressive – it easily tackled pet hair, dirt and debris on hard floors and carpets for up to 60 minutes.”

Clean up, with these electric toothbrush deals
If an electric toothbrush deal seems too incredible to be true, it might just be. You’ll see huge discounts of 50 per cent or more, but those savings come and go throughout the year, so, they aren’t always the impressive one-off bargains they seem to be. Our tech writer, Steve Hogarty, has spent countless hours testing electric toothbrushes for his round-up of the best, and is on hand to help you find the real deals (and avoid the duds) this Black Friday.
Oral-B Pro 3 electric toothbrush: Was £100, now £35, Amazon.co.uk
We rated the Oral-B Pro 3 the best electric toothbrush in our round-up, thanks to its low price and effective cleaning power. The brush is noisier than the premium iO range but cleans just as well, according to our tester. “This budget-friendly electric toothbrush might lack the bells and whistles of its pricier iO siblings, but the oscillating head still delivers a reliably thorough clean.”

We’re predicting big savings on top-rated brushes and replacement heads from Oral-B and Philips
When do Black Friday 2024 sales end?
Black Friday falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US, so, it’ll kick off on Friday 29 November this year, running through to Cyber Monday, which will fall on 2 December this year. Although the sale hasn’t technically started yet, you wouldn’t know it, thanks to the flurry of major retailers already dropping their Black Friday deals (John Lewis, Currys, Argos, we’re looking at you).
The IndyBest team will be gathering the best deals in the run-up to and during the Black Friday sales. You’ll find the creme de la creme in our mega-guide below.

Now for some Superdrug discounts
Hailing it as its biggest Black Friday sale ever, Superdrug’s Black Friday sale is now live. Whether you’re looking to replenish your favourite Cerave skincare, treat someone (or yourself) to a beauty advent calendar or gift set, or to give teeth whitening products or multivitamins a try, I’d recommend checking it out.
Cerave blemish control cleanser with salicylic acid: Was £12.99, now £8.65, Superdrug.com
In a review of the best CeraVe skincare products our tester named this the best option for oily and acne-prone skin. With this Superdrug discount, you can add your basket with a 33 per cent discount. “Unlike other similar cleansers designed for blemish-prone skin, this one doesn’t dry out skin or strip it of moisture”, our reviewer praised, adding that, instead, “the blend of ceramides, niacinamide and salicylic acid (2 per cent) gently exfoliates the skin while removing dirt.”
When is the Asos Black Friday sale?
Asos is a go-to for affordable finds, and its Black Friday sale, which the retailer says will dish up more than 850 discounts, is coming in hot. Kicking off on 29 November, and running all the way through to Cyber Monday on 2 December, it’s definitely one to bookmark, whether you’re after partywear, an 11th-hour wedding guest dress, or a warm winter coat.
The gaming deals to expect this Black Friday
Our tech writer, Alex Lee, thinks Nintendo Switch deals this year could be epic, owing to the rumours about a mid-2025 release for the Nintendo Switch 2.
We can also expect time-limited offers on subscriptions to services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass, which give access to hundreds of games for a monthly fee.
As for out-of-this-world deals you can snap up now? Here’s a £150 discount on the Meta Quest 3.
Meta Quest 3 512GB: Was £619.99, now £469, Amazon.co.uk
With the launch of the cheaper Meta Quest 3S for £290, Meta has repriced the existing Meta Quest 3 to make its original (and still best) VR headset more enticing. The 512GB model is the most storage you can get and has come down from £619.99 to £469. It features more sophisticated lenses than those found in the budget Meta Quest 3S, so visuals look a little sharper.
