With just over a fortnight to go, the Black Friday sales are coming in hot. From Currys and Argos to Boots and Shark, we’re already seeing a bunch of early savings from major brands and retailers, so you can start your shopping right away.
You’ll find the creme de la creme of deals so far in our shopping guides, plus, for a real-time stream of discounts and Black Friday news, our liveblog has you covered.
Whatever you’re looking for in the sales, whether that be a TV, laptop, mattress or beauty products, the steepest discounts aren’t necessarily the most covetable deals. The best savings are on products that are actually worth your money, so, we’ll be highlighting deals on products we’ve tested ourselves.
In terms of the brands and retailers already on the Black Friday train (ahead of the official sale dates of 29 November to 2 December), Samsung has started its sale, Oodie is offering 50 per cent off blanket hoodies and Dyson is offering hundreds of pounds off its products. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at Boots, Currys, Argos, LookFantastic and more, in what some are calling their biggest Black Friday sale ever.

Will Pandora have a Black Friday 2024 sale?
The biggest sale event in the shopping calendar, Black Friday is the time to tick off your fashion wishlist at a fraction of the cost. From high street labels such as Zara and Mango to Ugg and luxury retailers such as Net-A-Porter and Selfridges, all the best names take part.
Sitting in the mid-range price point of the market, Pandora’s jewellery is more accessible than some other jewellery brands, and often even more so during Black Friday. The annual sale has previously treated us to up to 30 per cent off Pandora’s cult charms from the ‘moments’ collection, as well as pendant necklaces, rings, studs and more. Dyson’s corrale straightener is one of the best in the business, helping you to reduce frizz and flyaways. In our review, the writer praised the unique copper alloy plates that “sit on top of a layer of ‘microhinges’, which help to gather every single hair as you style”. They said that their “hair stayed smooth and bouncy all day”. With £150 off, this is certainly a pukka deal, especially as it’s an early Black Friday offer.

When is Cyber Monday 2024?
This year, Cyber Monday will fall on Monday 2 December 2024. The main difference Black Friday and Cyber Monday is that the latter – as the name suggests – historically only takes place online, while Black Friday sees deals both online and in stores. This isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, however, with plenty of brands continuing their in-store sales after the official Black Friday weekend.
If you miss out on bagging a Black Friday deal, Cyber Monday give you an extra chance to score a saving.
Typically, the best deals on tech and home appliances can be found on Black Friday, while Cyber Monday sees bigger savings across beauty, fashion and toys – so, this is worth bearing in mind when ticking off your Christmas shopping list.

When is Black Friday?
Black Friday traditionally falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US, so the mammoth sale will kick off on Friday 29 November. Lasting a full four days, the deals will end on Cyber Monday, falling on 2 December.
While there’s still a few weeks to go until the main event, myriad brands and retailers are ramping up excitement by launching their Black Friday sales early. Boots was the first to kick off proceedings, with John Lewis and Argos closely behind. In the days since, Ao, Currys, Shark, Ninja, Oodie, Superdrug and Dyson have all followed suit.

Whether you’re after an occasion dress, a staple pair of heels for party season or a knitted jumper to complete your winter wardrobe, Zara is the destination on the high street for affordable fashion – and its Black Friday sale is a highlight of the shopping calendar.
Unlike other fashion brands (think Asos and Mango), Zara usually waits until the eve of Black Friday to kick off its event. If you’re hunting for deals in the run-up, make sure the brand’s special prices section is on your radar.
