Look alive, deal hunters. There are just a few hours to go until Amazon pulls the curtains down on its 48-hour October Prime Day sale – or the Big Deal Days sale, as it’s officially called – the Prime member-exclusive sale that sees deals on everything from Apple tech and TVs to vacuum cleaners and beauty products.
Whether you’re looking for a new air fryer, searching for cult favorite skincare and make-up, or browsing the best bargains on the retailer’s own devices, shoppers have until 23:59 tonight to get their Prime Day shopping done before the sale draws to a close.
And, true to form, our shopping experts have been picking out the very best deals on everything from laptops and heated airers to dehumidifiers, household essentials and electric toothbrushes, to make sure that you bag the best savings throughout the event.
Some of the best savings I’ve seen so far have included a brilliant deal on the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, which have been slashed to their lowest ever price. I’ve also seen stellar deals on a Ninja dual zone air fryer, Le Creuset’s cast iron casserole dish and Amazon’s Echo Dot speaker.

Get this iPad at its cheapest price
Looking for an iPad deal this Prime Day? Forget the 10th-generation model, which still costs over £300 – the 9th-generation model is the one on sale, and it is still amazing value. Very capable and great for Netflix, gaming, shopping and reading.

With a bright and sharp 10.2in retina display and all-day battery life, this is the iPad to buy and is the cheapest price I’ve seen Amazon sell the tablet. In fact, when my dear dad was looking for a new iPad, it was this one I recommended he get over the iPad 10th-generation, which has only been upgraded minimally over this model. It’s also no longer a red-tag deal, so you don’t have to be a Prime member to sbuscribe. Win!

And here’s the TV deal – while I haven’t reviewed this one myself, I’ve seen and used it in real life, and I adore it. The Independent’s tech critic David Phelan also included it in his guide to the best 4K TVs. I’ve never seen it this cheap before, so if you need a new TV, jump on this deal today.

Save a ginormous £320 on Amazon’s flagship telly, taking it down to its lowest-ever price. “Amazon has its own smart TV platform, which includes something called ‘ambient experience’, which displays art or photos when the TV is in standby. It also has a built-in microphone, so you can control some TV actions with your voice, or by pressing the blue button on the remote,” David said in his review.
This Fire TV Stick deal is too good to miss
Right, so there are two really good Amazon Fire TV deals this Prime Day, but it depends what you’re looking for. If you’ve already got a TV, but just want to enhance it with Alexa smarts and streaming apps, take a look at this Fire TV Stick deal. Prefer to buy an Amazon Fire TV (like, an actual TV) with 4K QLED technology? You’ll want the Fire TV Omni QLED. Both are on sale at rock-bottom prices this Prime Day. Cheaper than ever at just £17, the Fire TV Stick has Full HD support, and plugs directly into your HDMI port. It comes with an Alexa-enabled remote, so you can just use your voice to ask it to play content, and all your favourite streaming apps are on there. This is a huge deal.
The Oral-B Pro 3 is an IndyBest winner, with a huge discount for Prime Day
There are a humongous number of electric toothbrushes out there, all boasting that killer feature. Artificial intelligence! A display to see how well you’re brushing! Flashing lights and car horns! But really, all you want from an electric toothbrush is for it to brush your teeth, and to brush them well, with various settings for sensitivity. I present you... this deal on the Oral-B Pro 3.

The cheapest I’ve seen it in months, the Oral-B Pro 3 is now a huge 63 per cent off the usual RRP. It usually hovers around the £40 mark, but Amazon’s taken a further £4 off the usual offer price. Tech writer Steve has been reviewing electric toothbrushes for a while, and this one always comes out on top. Featuring different speed settings and a whitening mode, the Oral-B Pro 3 left Steve with that “‘just been to the dentist’ feeling.

Will Prime Day deals change?
Unlikely. If they’re boasting that red Big Deal tag, then Amazon is unlikely to touch its price. The only reason a Prime Day deal might change is if it sells out – then Amazon could redirect you to other third-party sellers, in which case the price will go up. Amazon does change its prices a million times a day, but not when it comes to prices that are specifically tagged for the sale.
So rest easy knowing you can buy a product at that price now, and it won’t change until Prime Day ends at midnight tomorrow. Score.

Looking for a new 4K TV this Prime Day? You can currently save £200 on the RRP when it comes to this 50in Hisense model.

I review a lot of gadgets, and I reckon the best deal this Prime Day on tech has to be this one on Apple’s AirPods Pro 2. Rarely ever on sale, Amazon has just slashed them in price by £50. A bargain if you ask me.

This is the lowest price I’ve ever seen the AirPods Pro plummet to, so if you’re looking to upgrade your audio game and join the white-stem crew, come on in. In fact, I’m wearing them right now.
