You don’t have long left to save in the Amazon Prime Day sale - follow latest deals live (The Independent)

Look alive, deal hunters. There are just a few hours to go until Amazon pulls the curtains down on its 48-hour October Prime Day sale – or the Big Deal Days sale, as it’s officially called. At midnight tonight, the Prime member-exclusive sale, which has already seen deals on everything from Apple tech and TVs to vacuum cleaners and beauty products, will come to an end.

As is done every year here at The Independent, our shopping experts have been picking out the very best deals on everything from laptops and heated airers to dehumidifiershousehold essentials and electric toothbrushes. As we speed towards the finish line, I’m here to help you find the best deals.

Whether you’re looking for a new air fryer, searching for cult favourite skincare and make-up, or browsing the best bargains on the retailer’s own devices, you don’t have long left to snap up a bargain.

Some of the best savings I’ve seen so far have included a brilliant deal on the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, which have been slashed to their lowest ever price. I’ve also seen stellar deals on a Ninja dual zone air fryer and Amazon’s Echo Dot speake. Remember, you need to be a Prime subscriber if you want to take part.

The Oral-B Pro 3 is an IndyBest winner, with a huge discount for Prime Day

There are a humongous number of electric toothbrushes out there, all boasting that killer feature. Artificial intelligence! A display to see how well you’re brushing! Flashing lights and car horns! But really, all you want from an electric toothbrush is for it to brush your teeth, and to brush them well, with various settings for sensitivity. I present you... this deal on the Oral-B Pro 3.

Oral-B Pro 3 electric toothbrush: Was £100, now £36.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

The cheapest I’ve seen it in months, the Oral-B Pro 3 is now a huge 63 per cent off the usual RRP. It usually hovers around the £40 mark, but Amazon’s taken a further £4 off the usual offer price. Tech writer Steve has been reviewing electric toothbrushes for a while, and this one always comes out on top. Featuring different speed settings and a whitening mode, the Oral-B Pro 3 left Steve with that “‘just been to the dentist’ feeling.

My favourite Eufy robot vacuum is on sale this Prime Day

Want to live in the future with a robot that can do all the household chores for you? Too bad, it doesn’t exist – yet. The closest thing you’ll get to that is a robot vacuum cleaner. And this Eufy X10 is genuinely the one I use every day.

Eufy X10 Pro omni robot vacuum cleaner: Was £799, now £599, Amazon.co.uk

(Alex Lee)

You can save £200 on my favourite robo-vac. I’ve tested a lot of robot vacuum cleaners, and this is the one I keep coming back to. “The Eufy X10 Pro omni is a marvellous machine. It excels at mopping, boasting a generous water tank that requires infrequent refills,” I said in my review. “From washing and drying the mops to emptying the bin bag, its automated, hands-off approach makes it really convenient. Plus, its customisable vacuum settings mean it is boffin-level smart.”

If you want a makeup essential that’s always on our beauty team’s wish list, look no further than the Maybelline sky high mascara. Now with more than 50 per cent off, I’m told it had a big viral moment on TikTok. Olivia’s got all the details on how you can secure the saving in her article below:

Will Prime Day deals change?

Unlikely. If they’re boasting that red Big Deal tag, then Amazon is unlikely to touch its price. The only reason a Prime Day deal might change is if it sells out – then Amazon could redirect you to other third-party sellers, in which case the price will go up. Amazon does change its prices a million times a day, but not when it comes to prices that are specifically tagged for the sale.

So rest easy knowing you can buy a product at that price now, and it won’t change until Prime Day ends at midnight tomorrow. Score.

Hisense 4K TV Prime Day deals

Looking for a new 4K TV this Prime Day? You can currently save £200 on the RRP when it comes to this 50in Hisense model.

Hisense 50E6NTUK 4K smart TV, 50in: Was £499, now £299, Amazon.co.uk

(Hisense)

This 4K smart TV from Hisense has a near bezel-less design, so it looks really modern. It has Alexa built-in, so can be controlled using your voice, and supports everything from Netflix to Youtube to Apple TV and Disney+. There’s also a great AI-powered sports mode as well. It cost £329 last week, so Amazon’s taken it down by a further £30.

This is the best AirPods Pro 2 deal I’ve ever seen

I review a lot of gadgets, and I reckon the best deal this Prime Day on tech has to be this one on Apple’s AirPods Pro 2. Rarely ever on sale, Amazon has just slashed them in price by £50. A bargain if you ask me.

Apple AirPods Pro 2: Was £229, now £179, Amazon.co.uk

(David Phelan )

This is the lowest price I’ve ever seen the AirPods Pro plummet to, so if you’re looking to upgrade your audio game and join the white-stem crew, come on in. Excellent noise cancellation, transparency modes, and full to the brim with sweet features, such as conversation boost and auto-volume adjustment. I can’t recommend these more. In fact, I’m wearing them right now.

And if you’re looking for more deals on Apple gear this Prime Day, I’ve rounded up some of the best discounts in my article below:

Looking for a Kindle Paperwhite Prime Day deal?

Sadly, Amazon’s only discounted one Kindle this Prime Day and it’s not the Paperwhite. Thankfully, bookworms, the one and only Kindle on sale is the best one that Amazon makes.

Amazon Kindle Scribe: Was £329, now £229, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Save £100 on the Kindle Scribe this Prime Day – Amazon’s first ereader that lets you scribble notes on all your books. “If you’re a student or professional who reads and annotates a lot of documents, or if you’re simply looking for a more versatile ereader that doubles as a digital notepad, the Kindle scribe is a great option,” tech writer Steve said in his review.

How long does Prime Day last?

Prime Day is a bit of a misnomer. While it’s called Prime Day, it doesn’t actually last just one single day,

Prime Day is in fact two whole days. All of the deals marked with that handsome red Big Deal tag will cease to exist tomorrow night at 23:59, so you’ll want to get all your shopping in before then.

Remember, Daisy and the team are also curating the best Prime Day deals on our main hub, if you prefer something a little less real-time. Nothing wrong with a slower browse.

The best beauty Prime Day deals you need on your radar

Did somebody say beauty deals? The Independent’s beauty writer Lucy has a stonker of a saving for you.

Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream: Was £28, now £13.79, Amazon.co.uk

(Theindependent)

Lucy says that this is a real handbag essential – good for every skincare need. “The balm smells like the inside of a luxury spa and the texture is somewhere between a petroleum jelly and a thick cleansing balm, coming together to feel deeply nourishing,” she says. “If there’s one product worth your money in Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, it’s this.”

These Bose wireless earbuds have an £80 discount

Looking for a new pair of wireless earbuds? I’m in love with the Bose QC Ultra, and right now, you can snap them up for less thanks to this £80 discount. They’re usually pretty pricey, but they’ve got the best noise-cancelling I’ve tried.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds: Was £299.95, now £219, Amazon.co.uk

(Bose )

I’m not the only one who loves them. “They sound better than almost every competitive pair of earbuds we’ve tested”. The “audio quality here is exceptional across the board, strong, detailed sound that’s rich and faithful,” our writer said in their review. The noise-cancelling was also praised for being “astonishing”, with our tester finding that the “loudest of background sounds silenced effortlessly”.
