The series began in September having adhered to Covid safety regulations, and has entertained viewers weekly since.
As with every series to date, there have been ups, downs and bizarre performances (here’s looking at Max George and Dianne Buswell’s dance to the Simpsons theme).
With the final four in place, the stage was set for what was being touted as the closest finale in years – and ended in the most heartwarming manner possible.

Okay, it’s Bill time – the judges have picked the dance he’ll perform aaaand it’s the Quickstep!
Bill saying his success on the show has been “a revelation" and “personal” – very sweet.
Judge’s scores for Bill:
Craig – 9 (his highest mark yet)
Shirley – 10
Motsi – 10
The judges are deliberating which dance from the series they want Maisie to perform, and again, I don’t really care.
Everyone in the studio is going wild for Maisie. If the judges could pick, they’d pick her to win, for sure.
