Great British Bake Off - as it happened: Dessert week is here, but was there an editing error?
All the action from the Berkshire tent as the contestants take on week four
Britain’s most beloved and pastel-hued baking show is back once more, with a batch of new Great British Bake Off contestants taking a break from skipping merrily in a park to try and get Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith’s taste buds tingling.
Last episode was bread week, as contestants tried to impress with Chelsea buns, while the technical challenge – non-yeast naan bread – proved a difficult bake to master. The gang then grappled with the devilishly difficult showstopper (korovai, a traditional bread in Eastern Europe that’s mainly associated with weddings).
Rahul was named Star Baker for the second week in a row, with Antony was sadly sent packing.

Jon, it's very sweet you dressed as a ballerina, but why would you choose a red hot sauce? This looks like a bloodbath.
Was there an editing mistake in tonight's episode?
A lot of love for Kim-Joy's space turtles. But will she win Star Baker?
Here's a twist for this week: nobody's going home this week, due to Terry's illness. But there's a strong possibility two will go home in the next episode.
That's it for this week. Thank you and good night!
