Steve Borthwick says 10-53 thrashing by France shows how far team has to go
England head coach Steve Borthwick said the team's 10-53 thrashing by France shows just how much work they have to do.
He said they were "incredibly disappointed" with the performance at Twickenham on Saturday, 11 March.
Borthwick said their "formidable" opponents showed their "power and pace and class" in the Six Nations clash.
"We've got to learn from it and be better," he added during his post-match press conference.
England is up against Ireland, the world number one, next weekend in a St Patrick's weekend showdown in Dublin.
