Thick smoke clouds swell from wildfire burning in northern Spain

Thick smoke billowed from a raging wildfire burning in northern Spain as firefighters worked to cool the flames.

Aerial footage released by the Asturias emergency services shows the point of view of crews as they battled the fire overhead.

This video from Pilona shows just one of the multiple wildfires burning across the principality of Asturias.

The wildfires have led to evacuations of locals as first responders continue to fight the fires.
