Storm Lilian: Huge tree uproots and falls onto house in Manchester
Footage shows the moment a tree uproots and falls onto house in Manchester amid winds from Storm Lilian.
Lilian, which brought strong winds exceeding 70mph to northern parts of England and Wales on Friday 23 August, is the 12th named storm of the season and the first time the letter L has been used for the name.
Storm season, which runs from the start of September to the end of the following August, has only reached K twice since the Met Office began naming storms in 2015.
Lilian wreaked havoc across Greater Manchester on Friday, causing trees to fall onto roads and in gardens, while Metrolink services were suspended.
