Small plane flips over during crash landing on Santa Monica beach

A small plane was left upside down on a beach in Santa Monica after an emergency landing was forced on.

Two people were reportedly inside the single-engine aircraft when it made the crash landing.

One of the passengers was brought to hospital suffering from cardiac arrest, according to this report.

This footage shows the moment the plane flipped over as it hit the water, and also the scene on the beach in the aftermath.
