Unexpected moment Bishop drops piece of paper during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral
Sympathies have poured in for a Bishop who accidentally dropped a piece of paper during the state funeral service of Queen Elizabeth II in front of the 2,000 people gathered inside Westminster Abbey, and the millions watching from home.
This footage shows the moment of the drop, already described as “iconic” by some on Twitter, where others have said they’re cringing for the Bishop who “must be mortified.”
Britain’s longest-serving monarch will be laid to rest in Windsor later today (19 September), alongside her late husband, Prince Phillip.
