Police say Cambridgeshire double murder was ‘targeted’ attack on father and son

Police say a double murder in Cambridgeshire was a “targeted” and “isolated” attack on a father and son.

Officers also said that a custody battle is an “active line of inquiry’” in the investigation.

Chief superintendent Jon Hutchinson sought to reassure locals that there was no risk posed to the wider community.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder following the shooting of the men in two separate villages.
