James Cleverly and David Lammy were filmed embracing each other after the pair discussed the situation between Israel-Palestine.

The Foreign Secretary and shadow foreign secretary were seen sharing a hug with one and other after they both appeared on Sky News' Trevor Phillips On Sunday Morning programme.

The cabinet minister was seen approaching Mr Lammy in the Sky News newsroom before shaking hands, sharing a few words and embracing.

Political correspondent Sam Coates later described it as "the embrace that speaks to the cross-party political consensus."
