MOTD to be without pundits in solidarity with Gary Lineker
Match of the Day will go ahead today without a presenter or pundits as regulars boycott the show in solidarity with Gary Lineker.
The BBC host's tweet comparing the government's small boats legislation with 1930s Germany has sparked a row over impartiality.
Alan Shearer and Ian Wright are among the regular faces on the show that have said they won't be taking part today.
Former BBC director-general said he believes the move was “mistaken” and could give the impression that the BBC bowed to government pressure.
