Moment Eleanor Williams sentenced to prison over false grooming gang allegations
Eleanor Williams was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison on Tuesday (14 March) after being found to have falsely claimed she was abused by a grooming gang.
The 22-year-old made a series of claims that she was abused by an Asian gang and raped by multiple men as early as 2017.
A jury has concluded her claims were entirely fabricated, and Willaims was sentenced on nine counts of perverting the course of justice.
