Benson Boone pulls off signature flip in live MTV EMAs performance

Benson Boone delighted the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) audience at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena with his signature flip as he performed “Beautiful Things” during the ceremony on Sunday, 10 November.

The American singer began the performance suspended in the air playing a golden piano before being lowered to the ground.

His show was accompanied by pyrotechnics going off either side of the platform.

Boone was presented with the first award of the night, best new artist, by Manchester City footballers Ruben Dias and Alex Greenwood.

The singer said he was “extremely unprepared” to win the award and thanked his manager.
