Gasps were let out in the Fox News studio as the news of Donald Trump's indictment was announced.

A crew member's reaction appeared to be captured by a hot microphone, with them heard saying: "What?

Trump is the first-ever former US president in history to face criminal charges after a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict him over so-called "hush money" payments.

He is being probed over money given to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election.
