Boris Johnson reveals the swear word he was called while out for a run in London

Boris Johnson shared the tale of when he was called a "w*****" by a "fit young geezer" while he was out for a run through the city.

He described the exchange as being a "cheery London greeting" that shows the "minimal" gap between “the government and the governed” in Britain.

The former prime minister shared the anecdote during his first major speech in Europe since stepping down as prime minister.

Mr Johnson was addressing the BrandFinance global soft power summit in Westminster on Thursday, 2 February.
