Moment rookie pilot pulls off emergency landing after wheel fell off

Watch the moment a rookie pilot managed to pull off a tense emergency landing after the wheel fell off her small aircraft.

This video shows the 21-year-old landing the plane along the runway in Michigan.

After she reached the ground the plane tilted forward onto its nose because of the missing wheel.

Chris Yates, a more experienced pilot, noticed that something was wrong with Taylor Hash's plane and flagged it to her.

“That’s it kid, nice job, the nose is gonna come down, you’re OK, you’re OK, talk to me kid, proud of you,” he could be heard saying over the radio.
