Moment fox, badger, and hedgehogs get into a heated standoff over scraps

The tense standoff between a fox and a badger was caught on camera as the wild animals fought over scraps of food.

This night-vision footage, filmed in Loughborough, shows the heated altercation between the pair as they squared up to each other.

The video also shows the fox eating alongside hedgehogs, before one gets too close for comfort and it snaps at it.

It comes as a new study used videos, such as the likes of this one, to investigate interactions within and between different species.
