OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Located a steep walk up the hill from the harbour, you are rewarded with fabulous views over the town and across the sea to the islands of Herm, Jethou and Sark. All the shops and bars of the capital are within easy reach, as are the Guernsey museum and Candie Gardens. Castle Cornet is a 20-minute walk away. Victor Hugo's house can be reached in 15 minutes.

By plane: flights from London Heathrow to Guernsey take around one hour 15 minutes. The hotel is a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport.

By boat: ferries to St Peter Port run from Poole (3 hours) and Portsmouth (7 hours). Book boats.
