UFC 303 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight title rematch on Saturday, as Alex Pereira defends the belt against Jiri Prochazka.

Conor McGregor withdrew from his planned main event with Michael Chandler after suffering a broken toe this month, leading Pereira and Prochazka to step in.

Seven months ago, Pereira stopped Prochazka in round two to win the vacant 205lbs belt and build upon a previous reign as middleweight champion. Now Prochazka is out for revenge, as he bids to regain the light-heavyweight title that he held in 2022.

The Czech fighter vacated the belt that year after suffering an injury, before Jamahal Hill won the title and also relinquished it due to injury. After Pereira won the gold in November, the Brazilian retained it with a knockout of Hill this April, on the same night as Pereira’s stoppage of Aleksandar Rakic.
