Karolina Pliskova was the final top-10 seed to be eliminated on Monday as she lost to Kiki Bertens in straight sets in one of the biggest shocks of the day.
That means the draw has opened up even more, with Serena Williams ominously creeping back to her best. The 25 seed faces Camila Giorgi second on Centre Court.

A whipped forehand winner from Kasatkina takes this game to deuce after Kerber had two match points. The Russian isn't going down without a fight.
Game, set, match to Jelena Ostapenko! 7-5, 6-4.
Ostapenko takes the second set against Dominika Cibulkova 6-4 and is through to the Wimbledon semi-finals!
The 2017 French Open champion is looking seriously tough to beat - she hasn't lost a set so far.

A 30th unforced error hands Kerber advantage but the German quickly returns the favour and finds the net with what should have been a simple forehand return. Back and forth we go, with Kerber on advantage once again but still the Russian refuses to budge, delighting the crowd with some absolutely sensational sliced drop-shots. Five match points have come and gone...

Seventh match point to Kerber... The pair are absolutely shattered by the looks of it after a 25-shot rally which the German eventually won following a rapid-fire exchange at the net.
Game. Set. Match!

The German has done it at long last! An unforced error from Kasatkina hands Kerber the win but what a thrilling match of tennis that was.
A thrilling conclusion to that match, in which Kasatkina delighted the crowds with her slick backshots, weighted drop-shots and explosive power. On more than one occasion she jumped into her shots, as Gaels Monfils often does, to bring some added punch to her returns. The youngster has so much raw talent and potential but was eventually overcome by the consistency and experience of Kerber. Nonetheless, the Russian remains one for the future.
