TRY! Scotland 12-10 Australia (Ashman 59’)

What an unbelievable finish from the hooker! Scotland retake the lead after converting the scrum from inside five metres. Van der Merwe was again the target, up the inside, before Scotland worked it out to the left wing where Ashman took up the charge. Under pressure from Perese, Ashman, with the finishing skills of a winger, dived for the corner and was able to plant the ball over the line as he was hauled out of bounds. It’s a clear score, confirmed by Poite after a quick review.

Russell can’t add the conversion from the touchline.
