A depleted Scotland side will take to the field without regular captain Greig Laidlaw, with the scrum-half ruled out of the remainder of the championship after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 22-16 defeat in France two weeks ago.
Scotland are also without No 8 Josh Strauss after a kidney injury ruled him out of their remaining matches, so flanker John Barclay takes on the captaincy with Ali Price and John Hardie coming into the side. Wing Sean Maitland is also absent, so Tim Visser starts in his place, and the final change comes in the front-row where Gordon Reid replaces Allan Dell.
Wales meanwhile will hope to bounce back from their narrow 21-16 defeat by England in Cardiff, with head coach Rob Howley able to welcome back George North into the side at the expense of Alex Cuthbert.
The change is the only one that Howley makes in the starting XV, with the Welsh having a fully fit squad to choose from as Luke Charteris returns to the replacements’ bench.
Here’s everything you need to know about Scotland vs Wales.
What time does it start?
Scotland vs Wales kicks off at Murrayfield at 14:25 on Saturday 25 February.
Where can I watch it?
The match will be shown live on BBC One from 14:00. You can also follow the match with The Independent’s live blog right here.
Key player...
Rhys Webb: With Laidlaw out of the tournament, Webb can really assert himself against the inexperienced Ali Price. It was Webb who created the try for Liam Williams against England and the Scottish defence will need to be alert as he’s a livewire around the fringe when he spots a gap.
It’s a big game for...
John Barclay: The stand-in skipper goes up against one of the best back-row units in world rugby in the form of Sam Warburton, Justin Tipuric and Ross Moriarty, with Taulupe Faletau waiting in the wings for the second half. Barclay needs to lead from the front to try and inspire the rest of his team, but if he gets dominated by Warburton, Scotland could quickly find themselves out of the game.

Odds...
Scotland to win: 11/10
Wales to win: 18/25
Draw: 1/2 odds.
12 mins: Halfpenny's effort sails through and the score is tied at 3-3.
14 mins: It's a bit of a penalty fest so far, as this time Wales take the jumper out on the lineout. However, Russell makes his first error of the match as he misses touch from the kick, instead kicking into the dead ball area.
16 mins: Price sends up a high box-kick for Seymour to chase, but Lacey penalises the wing for jumping into Biggar. That was a harsh call, as Biggar had made a bit of a pig's ear of the catch and wasn't getting to the ball.
18 mins: Halfpenny and Visser go up to contest another Price box-kick, and this time it's the Welshman who collects it, but gets a bit of a whack on the way down. It's ruled a fair contest though (hurrah!) and from the next ruck Scotland turn the ball over. Russell chips over, but again it runs too longs and Halfpenny dots it down for a 22.
19 mins: Warburton wins a penalty at the breakdown as Scotland are pinged for not releasing, with the flanker latched onto his opposite number Barclay. Bigger kicks to touch on the 22.
23 mins: Visser is caught by North after taking a high kick and the Welsh wing picks him up off the ground to make sure he's held up, and when the maul is called, it goes nowhere to give Wales the put-in. Hardie is having treatment, not for the first time this half, and it looks like he hurt himself while tackling Webb. He's on the edge of the scrum, but you doubt he'll last match longer.
23 mins: From the scrum, Lacey gives Wales a free-kick for early engagement, and Webb takes the tap and goes quickly. The ball is recycled and Wales have men out wide, and Halfpenny flings a lovely pass for Liam Williams to run on to and dive over in the left corner. Halfpenny expertly converts from the touchline and Wales lead 3-10.
27 mins: What's go on here?! Webb darts again, and Williams is released to run into space. He steps inside two players, and tries to offload to Rob Evans, only for Richie Gray to get himself in the way. The ball spills over the line, Gray appears to grab Evans, and Seymour dives in to slap the ball into touch, However, way back in play, Webb appeared to pull Seymour back so that Williams could break, and the TMO gets the call spot on to come back for a Scottish penalty. A lot going on there!
28 mins: Hogg's off on a run! He kicks over the top and it's a foot race between the full-back and Halfpenny. They both dive for it at the same time, and appear to touch it down simultaneously. Lacey comes back for a penalty after Warburton hit Price with a high tackle, and much to Hogg's frustration he isn't checking for a try. Interesting one that, it was tough to call. But Scotland have the kick at goal regardless and Russell nails it to reduce the lead to 6-10.
