Eddie Jones and England are one game away from finishing 2016 with a 100 per cent winning record, with Australia the only side standing between them and perfection.
The war of words between the two coaches has rumbled on all week, with Michael Cheika criticising prop Dan Cole’s scrummaging technique and claiming Jones is looking for a chip on his shoulder.
England whitewashed the Wallabies Down Under during the summer, winning 3-0, and Cheika’s side will be looking for revenge at Twickenham.

Welcome to Twickenham for The Independent’s live blog of England’s last game of 2016.
England put their 100 per cent record on the line for the final time this year against Australia.
Eddie Jones is looking to make it 13 consecutive wins since taking over and finishing the year with a perfect record.
England whitewashed the Wallabies Down Under in the summer and will be confident they can produce another victory, with Michael Cheika's side losing to Ireland last time out, as well as being run close by France and Scotland before that.
The war of words has been bubbling nicely this week in the lead up to the game with Cheika accusing Jones of looking to put a chip on his shoulder and criticising prop Dan Cole’s scrummaging technique.
Jones has hit back by ordering his men to “break” the Wallabies, both mentally and physically.
Kick off is at 2.30pm but join us for all the build up for the last time this year.
Only one hour until kick off here at Twickenham and it's a much milder day here than it has been for some of the other internationals this autumn (even though it is actually December!) That should help moving the ball through the hands and hopefully give us some quicker rugby.
Will Eddie Jones keep his 100 per cent record for 2016 by winning his 13th consecutive game? Thanks to Ireland's win over New Zealand, victory today would make England the only side with a perfect record this year.
Marland Yarde and Nathan Hughes come into the starting line-up in place of the suspended Elliot Daly and the injured Billy Vunipola. Semesa Rokoduguni was unfortunate to be overlooked by Eddie Jones, who doesn't seem too convinced by his Fijian-born winger, despite his two tries against the country of his birth two weeks ago.
