Despite their heavy defeat against England last weekend, Ireland have the chance to go top of the World Rugby rankings if they can beat Warren Gatland’s Wales side today – in what is the Kiwi coach’s final game in charge of the Welsh side in Cardiff.
Both sides have selected heavily-changed teams from their last outings, with a number of fringe players getting the chance to shine ahead of their final squad announcements next week. Follow the live updates below.

11 min - Wales 0-3 Ireland: This is sloppy from the hosts. Watkin drops a simple pass in the centre of the park, with the scrum awarded to Ireland.
But the visitors seemingly return the favour as Aki, after a straightforward scrum, powers into the Welsh backline, only for a red hand to block his attempted off-load.
13 min - Wales 0-3 Ireland: That's more like it. From a Welsh scrum, the ball is sent long - a sublime, well-weighted kick from Evans - with Lane on hand to receive. He charges forward and was almost dragged into touch, only to pop the ball up, allowing the home side to recycle play.
It doesn't get very far though, with the ref bringing back play to the edge of Ireland's 22 for a Wales penalty.
15 min - Wales 3-3: Evans kicks a penalty to draw the hosts level.
From their scrum down on the right-hand side flank, the ball was quickly shipped inwards. At the first point of contact, the Irish defence was flagged up for failing to release. From there, Evans did the rest.
18 min - Wales 3-10 Ireland (Jacob Stockdale try, Jack Carty conversion):
A superb passage of play from the visitors who cut through a disjointed Welsh defence with ease. It was Navidi who initially lost possession in the centre of the park, allowing Ireland to catch their opponents on the break as they scrambled to organise themselves.
After receiving play from a barrelling Dave Kilcoyne, Andrew Conway floated his way past a number of red shirts, holding off the pass on each occasion, before eventually pulling the trigger to send Stockdale over down in the left corner. Brilliant stuff.
23 min - Wales 3-10 Ireland: Pause in play as the stewards are forced to tackle a pitch invader to the turf. Sigh.
On another note, the Welsh have enjoyed 64% of possession so far but find themselves trailing by seven points. They've yet to get going, with the Irish looking more menacing with the ball in hand.
26 min - Wales 3-10 Ireland: From a Welsh scrum, Josh Navidi picks and goes, driving hard into the Irish defence.
He's on hand to receive possession from a ruck moments later but gets hit hard with what looks to be a high tackle. The referee thinks nothing of it and instead pulls up play for offside. Wales penalty.
27 min - Wales 3-10 Ireland: Ah. Evans has missed his penalty kick. That won't go unnoticed...
28 min - Wales 3-15 Ireland (Jacob Stockdale try):
From an encouraging field position, it all went to pot for the Welsh, with Aaron Shingler failing to find his man with an attempted offload. The loose ball fell kindly for Stockdale, who punted it down field on the left flank before giving chase and eventually carrying it over the white line amid a roar of Irish cheers. He's looked phenomenal so far.
