Seth Rollins debuted a new finisher on Raw last night, as WWE looked to have confirmed reports that his old Curb Stomp move has been banned.

The WWE heavyweight champion used a variation of a DDT in his match against Dolph Ziggler in Raw's main event.

A report on wrestlezone.com last night claimed that the WWE is worried the Curb Stomp is too large a threat to the head and neck of a Superstar and that the company "is trying to be more proactive when it comes to preventing head injuries and concussions, and did not want it's top star to be doing the move every night".

The Curb Stomp

Rollins won the world heavyweight title at WrestleMania 31, when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the title after turning the main event between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match.

Speaking to The Independent last week, Rollins revealed that he only found out he was going to play a part in the main event "a lot later than people assume". It had been reported that he only found about about winning the title in the segment before Lesnar and Reigns' match.
